About Tina

There’s something special about the British countryside. It’s the blend of heritage, landscape, craft and character that gives every historic building and local tradition its own heartbeat.

My career has never followed a conventional path. Along the way I’ve worked across hospitality, heritage, home interiors, food and media, always with a fascination for the stories that connect people to places and to each other.

My television experience spans both property and lifestyle programming in the UK and food history features in the United States. Contributor appearances have included discussions on interior design and home staging, alongside regular television segments exploring baking, culinary heritage and the stories behind traditional recipes.

Today, alongside completing a degree in Broadcast Journalism, I combine journalism, research, media production and on-screen storytelling to explore the subjects that inspire me most. My studies have given me the opportunity to develop skills in television reporting, interviewing, audio production, feature writing and digital storytelling, while also building on a lifetime of practical experience.

Television has been an important part of that journey. I’ve appeared as a contributor on Channel 4’s Selling Houses and Tonight with Trevor McDonald, and more recently as a regular baking and food history contributor for US television programmes including IndyStyle and FOX59. These opportunities have allowed me to share not only practical skills but also the fascinating stories behind the food, traditions and cultural heritage that continue to shape our lives today.

Food history has become a particular passion. I love uncovering the origins of recipes, exploring forgotten traditions and discovering how food can reveal wider stories about communities, people and everyday life. Whether researching a centuries-old recipe, presenting a feature, interviewing contributors or standing in front of a camera with flour on my hands, I am always looking for ways to make history engaging, accessible and relevant.

I’m particularly interested in projects that celebrate heritage, food culture, rural life, tourism, local history and human-interest stories. I also enjoy opportunities in factual television, radio, podcasting and documentary storytelling, where curiosity and conversation are at the centre of the work.

Based in Derbyshire, I am available for contributor, presenter, speaking and media opportunities throughout the UK.

After all, every place, every recipe and every person has a story worth telling.
